capa de agenda :)

esta agenda começou por ser um bordado....um bordado só....
e quando acabei o bordado comecei a ter duvidas.....
para mim o bordado estava lindo, mas será que ficava bem sobre a combinação de tecidos que eu tinha escolhido???
tenho que vos dizer que achei que ia ter de desmanchar tudo e recomeçar tudo da estaca zero, novamente!!
esta agenda foi uma encomenda para um tipo de agenda especial com duas abas o que não é de todo o genero que costumo fazer, por isso pensei no bordado ao alto que encaixaria com o tecido aos retalhos também ao alto.
apesar das minhas duvidas fui avançando e o resultado é este....
afinal acho que resultou, e vocês o me dizem??


this cover diary started as an embroidery ..... only an embroidered ......
and when I finished the embroidery, I began to have doubts .....
embroidery was beautiful for me, but would looked good on the combination of fabrics that I had chosen?
I have to tell you that I thought I'd have to undo everything and start from scratch again!
this agenda was a request for a special type of programming with two tabs is not the genre that I usually do, so I thought for vertical embroidery and sewing fabrics also vertically
despite my doubts I went ahead and the result is this ....
I think that ultimately resulted, what do you think?

À dias que ando para começar este quilt, os tecidos têm estado dobradinhos e guardados à espera de serem cortados :))
ontem, finalmente comecei a cortá-los em quadrados.....
tenho andado em pesquisas no flickr á procura de inspiração :))
depois de ver imensos quilts de que gosto, cheguei á conclusão de que gosto mais dos mais simples!!
agora estou indecisa......se com quadrados se com trianglos?? :)
dos que gostei mais aqui ficam 2, um de quadrados da Jenna e com pespontos em diagonal e este outro da Allison com pesponto "free motion"
e agora......o que faço???

will have several days that I want to start this quilt, the fabrics have been folded and waiting to be cut:))
yesterday, finally began to cut them into squares .....
I've been on flickr searching for inspiration:))
after seeing lots of quilts that I like, I came to the conclusion that I like more, the simplest!
now I'm undecided ..... whether to square with triangles? :)
The two that I liked best were: one of the squares of Jenna and diagonal stitching and this one of Allison with stitching "free motion"
...... and now what do I do??

ok! o dia de ontem foi para esquecer..... fiz e refiz uma capa de livros por três vezes ......... grrrrrrrrrrrr.
de tal forma que decidi vou me sentar no sofá e fazer alguma coisa á mão, parece-me que hoje a maquina não quer nada comigo :))
então lá fui eu novamente , procuras os meus hexagonos :))
e agora estou a a juntar........... mais um bocadinho :D

ok! yesterday was a day to forget ..... I did and redid a book cover three times ......... grrrrrrrrrrrr.
so I decided to go sit on the couch and do something by hand, it seems to me, that now, the machine does not want anything to do with me:))

alem disso serve tambem de marcador de livro.
da outra face tem o nome "rosa e chocolat" bordado á mão, como podem ver nesta :)

entretanto vou fazendo mais uns bookcovers e duas almofadas começadas,uma começada á tanto tempo e prometida á tanto tempo (quase um ano ;(() que até tenho vergonha, e outra meio encomendada que estou a acabar, lentamente :(

these are my new tags and my solution for my "brand" in bookcovers:)
besides that also serves as a bookmark.
the other side has the name "rosa e chocolat" embroidered by hand, as you can see in this one:)

however, am doing some more bookcovers and two pillows, one was started so long and promised so long (almost a year ;( ) that even I am ashamed, and another order that I am finished, slowly :(

andava cheia de vontade de experimentar................
até que encontrei um tutorial optimo e facilimo de executar :))
assim desta maneira sai tudo certinho :))
mas acho que para fazer um quilt fica melhor sem a base de entretela, assim fica muito duro :), é bom para pegas de cozinha e para fazer bases de copos.
............estou a adorar as experiências, é tão divertido, veremos no que dá :D

until I found a great tutorial and very easy to make:))
so this way comes out all right:))
but I think to make a Quilt is better without the basis of padding, is very hard:) is good for handles of kitchen and to bases of glasses.
............ I am in love with the experience, is so fun, I do not know what will come out.... we will see: D

este fim de semana descobri que este é um optimo projecto para dias quentes :)))
é pequeno, não ocupa muito espaço nem faz calor!! por serem pequenos :)) e podemos relaxar em frente á ventoinha sem ter de andar a puxar o trabalho de um lado para o outro :))

this weekend I discovered that this is a great project for warm days:)))
is small, does not occupy much space does not heat! because they are small:)) and can relax in front of the fan without having to go to pull the work from one side to another:))

quando recebi o pacote com a minha parte da troca de Março, no meio dos tecidos, do chocolate e de todas as outras coisas vinham uns hexagonos de papel e....... com a minha imensa vontade de começar um quilt decidi começar por fazer um pequeno quilt - english paper piecing :D
acho que a minha filha vai gostar de uma mantinha para as suas bonecas, não??

when I received the package with my part of the March swap, between the tissues and chocolte, had some hexagons of paper and ...... with my great desire to start a Quilt, I decided to start a little Doll Quilt - english paper piecing : D
I think my daughter will enjoy a little quilt for her dolls, no?
